Jose F. Quiles III

Attorney Quiles was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He and his family moved to the United States in 1987. After graduating from Shelton High School, Attorney Quiles went on to graduate with honors from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. He then successfully completed his legal studies at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree.

Attorney Quiles began his career as a claims adjuster for Zurich N.A., as part of Zurich’s Associate Program, where he was trained in many aspects of insurance, including underwriting, risk management, and claims. He then joined Staff Counsel for Allstate Insurance, where he tried twenty –three cases to verdict. Attorney Quiles’ experience as a claims adjuster, as well as his extensive experience as a defense lawyer, has helped him gain a greater understanding of how insurance companies defend personal injury cases. This experience has allowed him to become a highly effective advocate for the injured.  Attorney Quiles has tried twenty- one cases to verdict on behalf of injured clients.

Attorney Quiles is very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. As someone who was born outside the Continental United States, Attorney Quiles is very committed to protecting the legal rights of all immigrants. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
