A new study has found that red light cameras result in a significant increase in the number of rear-end accidents.
When drivers spot a red light camera while approaching a yellow light, they suddenly slam on their brakes in effort to avoid being caught by the camera. Drivers behind them may not be anticipating this, and are therefore caught unprepared and unable to react in time to prevent a rear-end collision. While this may save them from a red light ticket, they will still have to deal with the damages to the vehicles, extra costs from insurance and points on their license.
Keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Slow down while approaching an intersection to reduce your chances of getting involved in a rear-end accident.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Attorney Adele Jacobs for the outstanding job she did for me with winning my court case. In 2005, I was seriously injured, breaking my back in several places due to the negligence of a property owner, not maintaining their sidewalk. Since I did not know where to go I decided to randomly choose from the Yellow Pages. I like the sound of her name and she was a female lawyer. Adele treated me with the utmost respect and dignity while understanding my fears and concerns regarding not only my injuries.
